Good morning Snowline,
All Snowline schools will be open for learning today, 2/23/22. Students that live in Wrightwood and ride the bus for Serrano High School and Pinon Mesa Middle School will be picked up at HWY 2 this morning. Please click the link for bus stops and pick-up times!

Early this afternoon, Dr. Mark Ghaly, Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency, hosted a video conference that addressed the current mask mandate for K-12 schools. In short, there is no change to the school masking requirement, with masks being required for all individuals in indoor school settings. The next evaluation point for any potential change is set for Monday, February 28.

There will be a free COVID-19 vaccination event from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12 at Pinon Mesa Middle School. Any Pfizer vaccine dose (pediatric, initial vaccination series, booster) for ages 5-11 and 12+ and will be available through appointments or walk-ins. Additional free resources from the San Bernardino County Department of PublicHealth will be available, including gift bags with sanitizing wipes, N95/KN95 masks, sanitizer, and sunglasses.

Our most challenging month since the COVID-19 pandemic began is behind us and February is here.
I am thankful for that fact, but even more appreciative for the collective perseverance through such difficult times in service of our students. I am grateful, to say the least.
